Best of 2010 Movies

2010 has been so far one of a kind year in the entertainment, technology and pop culture world. As the year is almost over i recalled back to choose the best movies, music,comics,technology, gadgets and so on as well as cool stuff i posted on 2dots. Mind you i am not a critic, this is just my personal picks that i found appealing.

 Overall Best Movie

Ben Affleck proved to everybody he is out of the Gigli and Daredevil phase and proved he can actually make a low budget movie which he wrote, directed and starred in. This movie had it all great storytelling, outstanding performance by the actors.  

Best Action/Sci Fi

Inception could have been the Overall best movie but this movie is very complicated, it requires a lot of thinking and processing to get it, but Director Chris Nolan made us believe again that you do not need 3D technology to make a perfect movie and after watching this movie your sub conscience within your conscience will tell you is a mind blowing movie. 

Best Comedy

Last year The Hangover hands down was the best comedy movie, this year i give it to Get Him to The Greek. All about drugs,sex,rock stars and not forgetting the list of celebrity cameos and shocking performance by Diddy, yeah you read it right Diddy.

Best Foreign Movie

Before i watched this movie, i had no idea or history of Australian movies till a friend of mine from New Zealand recommended this movie. I was astonished to see the quality material of film making Australians have. Red Hill is filled with blood pumping suspense that will edge your attention from beginning to end.

Best Hong Kong Movie

I am surprised Donnie Yen is not getting main stream attention in the US, but his martial arts reputation is on the rise. Legend of Chen Zhen though is a continuation of the same character played by  Bruce Lee in Fist of Fury as well as Jet Li's Fist of Legend, Donnie Yen puts his martial arts trademark stamp on it telling us he is carrying the mantle passed on to him.

Best Comic Adaptation

Though Scott Pilgrim vs The World did not get the box office success it deserved, Director Edgar Wright delivered with the best Comic adaptation movie.Using the elements of the comic to make the perfect comic adaption. 

Best Fantasy 

After 28 years of the first film, the sequel  to cult classic took us back again to the virtual world with eye popping visuals of cool vehicles, weapons, gadgets and best of all paving the way for a modern twist that i am sure will lead to other ventures.
