Here is my mini review of Concrete Circus, when i had the opportunity to screen the documentary last year courtesy director Mike Christie.
Concrete
Circus highlights the fusion of five urban sports practitioners and
four filmmakers doing what they love as they showcase their talents and
skills within their respective fields.
Besides
depicting a tremendous performance to their audience, the heart of the
documentary is a touching and inspiring story of the practitioners that
reveals their inward passion and the beauty that they create outwardly
for all the world to marvel in.
Through informative and insightful interviews by each of urban sports pioneers we are given an up-close and personal view of what inspires them and how their athletic prowess also inspires out to dare to push the limits of the envelope.
An overall hard knocking and outstanding documentary with a heart. This piece stands as another big win documentary under director Mike Christie's belt.
