"For this chest of drawers I was challenged by our private client. She ask me for a piece of work which would express her emotional reasons for this commission and should colour up their living room entrance. The explosive shape refers to the various emotions and the drawers provide space for relevant relics. With its shape the piece of furniture became a piece of architecture on the wall." - Laurens van Wieringen
