Photography Spotlight : Fundiswa Ntoyi

"I love taking portraits, my main subjects are people, I always tell my subjects to never pose for my pictures, because I want to "capture their soul", whatever this means. I want people to be able to relate when they look at my pictures. I also love documentary photography, I am still learning how to connect and take pictures of strangers without feeling like I am invading their space. The Vision I have for my photography is to Communicate Creativity, to tell stories creatively, to touch lives creatively and to maybe change someone's life using creativity through my pictures. I am inspired by photographers like Alf Khumalo, Malick Sedibe, my good friends from I See A Different you, Mambu Bayoh, Rog Walker, Andre Wagner and many more.I am a self taught photographer, but I don't like to use this phrase because I still have a long way to go, with so much to learn and so many pictures to take/make."

Wonderful photography from Fundiswa Ntoyi, a 22 year old creative based in South Africa.
Besides having a great eye for photography, Fundiswa is also a fine artist and an aspiring graphic designer. Visit her tumblr page for more of her photography work.
