Haley Friesen x Nobuhiro Sato : Rurubu

Incredible collaborative project from Toronto-based photographer Haley Friesen and 

San Francisco-based calligraphy artist Nobuhiro Sato. Rurubu explores multiple forms of 

artistic expressions in an attempt of collaboration to create beauty, movement and energy. Syncing perfectly to its meaning, "to dance and flow slowly" in Japanese.

The photographs were shot digitally in studio by Haley Friesen and then printed on watercolor paper and shipped to San Francisco where Nobuhiro Sato proceeded to paint over them using
